As the trade association for the hospitality industry, the OH&LA remains committed to furthering Oklahoma's economic growth. The OH&LA yearly hosts a number of events for the benefit of the hospitality industry. In January, the Lodging Summit/Vendor Expo and Stars of the Industry Award Luncheon spotlight the best employees in the state's hospitality industry.
Each February, OH&LA co-hosts "A Tasteful Affair" Legislative Reception, an opportunity to meet state legislators as they begin their annual legislative session.
In September, the OH&LA co-sponsors the Annual Oklahoma Restaurant Convention & Expo, the largest trade show in the state of Oklahoma and the most important event for food service and hospitality industry professionals. Approximately 8,000 attendees flood downtown Oklahoma City and the Cox Convention Center to partake in the newest products, services and more than 450 exhibits.
In addition, the OH&LA hosts several other annual events throughout the year including business seminars, educational programs and networking opportunities.
